Collectors come in all stripes, those who genuinely have a love for what they may be making collections, those that just love the chase of having the ability to complete a collection, and those that hope their investment will one day pay off. One doesn’t should be among the an incredible number of players of World of Warcraft to collect its toys. The younger fans though, or the young in mind, often have a hard time resisting the urge to take the warcraft action figures of these box. The slightly older players will likely have the warcraft action figures coming from of He-Man figures sold in the 80’s.
You’ll find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft 2. They are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Advanced (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics). Outside of they then, DC Direct has design the biggest line of figures, twenty five figures including very exclusive miniatures, through 2009.
Blizzard, the corporation behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only produced five figures. They’re Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.
Toycom has produced six miniatures all from Warcraft III. SOTA released only three figures which are: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.
DC Direct released its first group of warcraft action figures in 2007. This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, along with a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series through the end of 2009.
As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, possessing a mint toy collection generally is a nice investment. Those brand new to WoW, but seeking the next “hot” collectible, could explore these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for many subscribers, over 11 million. With many followers worldwide it’s likely an industry will exist in the foreseeable future for the people collectors who were able to purchase the warcraft action figures now and hold onto them. And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures usually are not currently being mass produced and sold in retail outlets.
