Whenever journeying with our parents, we always struggle to award them the best we can. Mom and I would be back and fort with messages and telephone calls for many weeks discussing what would be good all through their vacation and what country or where she would like to stay so that we can book in advance. We are not what you would refer to as “well-off” families but we have an adequate amount to survive contentedly. So in one of mom’s emails she stated “I’d love to stay at one of those fancy Ambergris Caye resorts on the beach.”
Well when I pointed out what she had said to my other half and the kids the house rang with shouts and amusement as if we had won the lottery. Everyone was thrilled about it and so the resolution was set. Both of us had 3 weeks vacation and decided that we can atleast chip in to stay at one of those fancy places with assorted Belize condo rentals that we can pick from. We explored the internet and also looked around on trip advisor and talked to several friends who recommended this one place that appeared just great for what we were looking for.
A magnificent place just in front of the sea, with massive swimming pools, San Pedro Belize condos that has several bedrooms and resort amenities. This was whirling into the ultimate retreat of the season. I bet all the kids will enjoy it and mom will get her wish. All dad needs is local food and a kayak and he will be having the best time ever. Nevertheless, it’s all in the planning period so I hope that it plays out just the way everyone expects.
